Sconce Electric helped get my home (built in the early 70s) up-to-date by installing recessed cans in every room and getting rid of those ugly fan kit lights. Greg also updated all of my light switched and installed ceiling fans in rooms that didn't have any. He showed up on-time, every day and had everything ready to go. His truck is more than just cool-looking - it seems to be stocked with everything which kept me from having to spend more money and time to get the things myself. Afterwards they made sure everything worked and that I was happy with their work as well as picked up all the loose electrical and insulation scraps before they left.

Greg met us at our home, on time and ready to go. He looked at the area where the house fan was to be installed and realized the project may be a more challenging than most typical house fan installations. Despite the challenge, he estimated a cost and told us it would be no more than $x and noted that in a contract. He was there the following week (a time that was best for us) to install the fan. He was in and out in about 3 hours and it continues to work perfectly. We would definitely use Sconce in the future should we need any electrical assistance.

Greg gave us a "new" kitchen! Once he removed the old florescent light box, and installed the drywall, I knew we were in for a beautiful makeover. I first called Greg of Sconce Electric when my vacuum cleaner shorted out, and I lost electricity for all my major kitchen appliances on Labor Day. This was pretty worrisome, being that it was the holiday. However, I couldn't let allow our refrigerator go, so I discovered him on Angie's List, liked the reviews, gave him a call (feeling embarrassed, but hopeful) and he agreed to come out in "half an hour." He showed up promptly, and was able to fix the problem quickly. Customers will notice immediately that Greg is pleasant, professional and exudes trustworthiness. On the spur of the moment, I asked him about other electrical needs for our home that had piled up over the years. He had great suggestions and provided a decent timeline and quote. Everything I asked him about regarding our electrical and lighting needs, he showed a upbeat "can do" confidence. With Greg, it doesn't feel like any job is too big, or too small, he is up for it! He was able to start on work on the following wednesday. For the next few days, I shopped for the light fixtures, the microwave, the ceiling fans and mini pendants, etc. Greg did everything we asked him to do, with a smile and made it very painless. He is prompt, diligent, professional and accountable. He works quickly and his work is elegant, neat, and tranforming.When I came home from work, the kitchen was sparkling and there was no sign of any mess. I've used Sconce Electric for the last 12 years and he's always done an excellent job. In the past he's installed whole house fans, installed new switches and lighting fixtures, and wired a new construction office for us. This week he fixed faulty light switches on at least 4 fixtures, repaired an electric ignited gas fire place and repaired a wall lamp in our new home we just moved into. He also went around the house and checked every outlet for me to make sure it worked.
